FAQ & Framing

anne-gable-mockup-high-res.jpgA WHOLE BOOK ON A POSTER? IS THE TEXT EVEN LEGIBLE?

Yes, hard as it may be to believe, each one of our designs contains the full text of the book. Where there are shapes in the design, the words wrap to the edges rather than being removed or shaded. The apparent font size is roughly 4 point which is perfectly legible with the naked eye if you have 20/20 vision, or with light magnification if you don't.

WHAT IS THE PRINT QUALITY LIKE?

Our posters are printed on 200gsm, satin finish paper with state-of-the-art printing technology. The text is pin-sharp and the paper non-reflective so you can hang and light it exactly as you wish.

HOW BIG ARE THESE THINGS?

Our poster size is generally determined by the word count of the book and therefore come in a variety of sizes which are clearly mentioned in the description of each poster.

A4 : 210x297mm

SMALL : 500 x 400mm

MEDIUM (B2) : 500 x 700mm

LARGE (B1) : 700 x 1000mm

EXTRA LARGE (Ao) : 841 x 1189mm

OTHER FRAMING OPTIONS

FOAM BOARD

A light weight, cost effective method. We have used this style of mounting for our trade displays and find it to be a fairly sturdy, long lasting option. We have however, tried (and failed!) to DIY ourselves so highly recommend using a professional.

PICTURE RODS

These use magnetic strips top and bottom to hold your poster in place.  A cost effective option readily available online. We recommend securing the rods once hung with blu-tac to avoid the breeze catching the poster and tearing it.  You can also make these yourself - try searching "DIY magnetic poster holder" for step by step instructions.
